WHO WE ARE
Purple Square Studios was born in 2025 out of a simple frustration: why were so many games stressful? We wanted games that felt like a warm hug — approachable, joyful, and impossible to put down.
We're bringing the vibrant colors, sounds, and stories of India to players around the world. Every puzzle we design is a doorway into a new culture — where gameplay meets narrative, and fun meets meaning.

Founder & Game Designer
The one who started it all. Armed with a Masters in Digital Game Design from NID and an unshakeable belief that games can change how people see the world. Designs every puzzle, writes every story beat, codes every mechanic, and loses sleep over whether that shade of purple is juicy enough. Fuelled by chai, gardening breaks, and long walks with two very opinionated dogs.

The voice of reason when a technical rabbit hole gets too deep. Guides the studio's tech decisions — helping Abhilasha navigate architecture choices, optimize performance, and avoid the pitfalls that sink indie projects. Doesn't write the code, but makes sure the code that's written is the right code.
